Flue Gas Fan control by Middle-voltage 6 kV Converter

AUTEL, a.s. completed the project for the control of the existing flue gas fan motors on blocks VB 3 and VB 4 during the denitrification of boilers K3 and K4 at the ČEZ, a.s. Dětmarovice Power Plant. The project was implemented as a sub-delivery for VÍTKOVICE IT SOLUTIONS a.s with a contract value of 13 million CZK.
The project included the delivery and commissioning of four middle-voltage PowerFlex 6000 frequency converters with VSI-H Bridge technology (including input transformer) from Rockwell Automation. The converters control the existing 1,350 kW, 163 A and 6 kV motors.
