AUTEL won an important project in TATRA Kopřivnice

As a result of long-term endeavour and based on the references and expertise of AUTEL employees, a contract was entered into between AUTEL and UNICAPITAL Distribuce companies for the project for “Renewal of local distribution network (LDN)” at the Kopřivnice compound of TATRA, a.s.

This project is aimed at modernization of the existing LDN supporting all important production plants such as TATRA TRUCKS, a.s.,  TATRA METALURGIE, a.s., Tawesco s.r.o., as well as other works within the industrial complex. Installation of new high-voltage (HV) 22 kV cable lines for the compound and installation of new HV distribution system including the control and monitoring system are in scope of the project.

The whole operation follows a timeline incorporating available shutdown times of the individual works. The 22 kV cable network in particular is one of the most difficult parts of the project, since it has to deal with extensive earthworks.

Selected HV distribution system technology includes Siemens 8BT1 and 8DJH in the SAMRT version with the SICAM control system. Transformers will be supplied by the ABB (oil-filled) and SEA (dry-type) manufacturers.

The contract price is CZK 150 million. Project will be completed in November 2020.
