AUTEL replaces the paper machine control system

In October 2017, AUTEL received a request from Mondi Świecie S.A. to upgrade the DCS (Distributed Control System) for the type of ABB System 800xA to the actual version and the transfer of tasks from the Honeywell TotalPlant Alcont control system to the ABB paper machine MP2 system.

Due to the satisfaction of the employees at Mondi Świecie from the long-term cooperation and successful implementation of the project for replacing the control system for the MP1 paper machine during modernization, AUTEL was selected to implement the replacement of paper machine MP2.

The implementation of the project will take place in two stages. In the first stage in summer 2018, there will be an upgrade of ABB system+ in the second stage, which will take place in summer 2019, the existing Honeywell TotalPlant Alcont will be replaced with the new 800xA ABB System. The migration will also include migration of the upgrade of QCS for production quality management.
