AUTEL enhances reliability of distribution network and transformation capacities
AUTEL, a.s. is currently executing a project for “Increasing reliability and efficiency of electric power distribution network” and “Transformation capacity renewal” financed by the Ostrava-based BorsodChem MCHZ, s.r.o. company.
AUTEL, a.s. has won the client’s trust regarding implementation of this project based on its long-standing experience in the field of very high voltage (VHV) and high voltage (HV) grids, and with assessment thereof from the reliability point of view.
The objective of this project is to renew equipment for the seven existing 22 kV and 6 kV type substations within the local distribution network (LDN), including the protection and communication systems, as well as connection to the Energetika control system.
Selected HV switchgear technology is made by ABB and HV cells will be realized in form of retrofitting, i.e. incorporation of the ABB and IVEP components. The required related construction works and wiring will be provided as well.
In addition to the above, the AUTEL, a.s. company will also replace the VHV cable network and 110/6.3 kV transformer in connection to the repeated malfunctions of the existing VHV cable network. At the same time, 22 kV power lines will be modernized, and HV/LV transformers will be replaced.
The main contract price is CZK 150 million. Project completion is expected in December 2021.
