AUTEL designs the electricity supply for the Nexen Tire Plant

The South Korean Nexen Tire Corporation Czech s.r.o. (Nexen Tire) is a global tire manufacturer. We work with outstanding car manufacturers such as Škoda, Volkswagen and Hyundai.

Nexen Tire will build a technologically advanced plant for the manufacturing of tires for passenger and light vehicles in the Triangle industrial zone at Žatec.

The general vendor for the construction of the plant will be Samsung Engineering. The contract for the “Delivery of the electricity supply” was won by Siemens.

On the basis of successful cooperation together on previous projects, Siemens selected AUTEL and its sub-vendor to prepare the project documentation.

AUTEL will deliver documentation and services for Siemens within the following scope: basic data for professions (BDP), Detail Design, documentation for operation and maintenance, as-built documentation with verified and updated BDP documentation on the basis of the detail design.

The documentation will contain the resolution for equipment: 110kV GIS substation, 110kV/22kV transformer, 22kV and 6.6kV switchboards, high-voltage and low-voltage compensators, high-voltage and low-voltage transformers, cables and grounding.

As an option, AUTEL offers preparation of the documentation for the SCADA electric control system.

The contract is worth 3.7 million CZK. The project is due to be completed in April 2018.
